My primary goal is to help you feel better as
quickly as possible.
It’s also my goal to help you make changes necessary to manage life’s ups and downs more effectively. I do that by being actively engaged in an open conversation during every session. My patients report feeling connected, understood and supported as a result.
In my office you can expect to:
- Talk about your problems confidentially.
- Get support.
- Move forward in your life again.
My hope is that you walk out of my office feeling better, knowing that you’ve been able to successfully address your issues. I also want you to lead a happier, more fulfilling life. I work on the assumption that you want that, too.
Terri was excellent at listening, reframing issues for me, asking the right questions, and making suggestions for small ways that I could try to make things better.

How I Can Help
There is not enough room on this website to explain everything that I’m trained to do to not only help you feel better, but also to help you make the changes you’d like to see in your life. I can give you an idea, though, so you’ll know what to expect.
First, I provide a safe, supportive, confidential environment to help you explore your issues. Next, I’ll ask you to tell me why you came.
After we discuss your reasons for coming, we will:
- Set up goals for treatment.
- Conduct a history to help me more quickly assess the possible sources of your problem.
- Custom-design a treatment plan to specifically address the reason you’ve sought help.
If you have any questions or concerns about therapy, we’ll discuss them, too. In fact, if you have questions now, please feel free to contact me.
